Hotel St. Pierre French Quarter New Orleans, New Orleans

The hotel had so much charm and was situated in a perfect central location, just around the corner. However, it needs updating. The rooms were named for Jazz musicians and were very clean. The service was dismissive at times, but there were also friendly staff members who were helpful in pointing us toward good sites and restaurants. The location was superb, in a quiet street in the French Quarter, within walking distance of key attractions. While the price for parking was high, the area was great overall. The dining experience was not overwhelming, with some delicious options but room for improvement. The hotel had good facilities available for guests.
